Risk MAP has four program measures: Risk MAP deployment, Quality Data (NVUE), Awareness, and Action. Risk MAP deployment captures the extent of where Risk MAP has been delivered. The NVUE measure captures the extent of quality engineering information delivered. Awareness captures the extent by which Risk MAP has increased the public awareness of flood risk within their communities. The Action Measure captures the extent to which Risk MAP Communities are moving down the path to taking action to reduce risk from flooding.

The tool below is a functional prototype for how FEMA may possibly collect and measure Risk MAP Mitigation Action measures in the future. Data in the tool is only for conceptual demonstration and not representative of mitigation actions in the Nation's communities today.
