Region VII Letter of Map Revision (LOMR)
A Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) is a document that officially revises a portion of the current Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) and/or Flood Insurance Study (FIS) according to requirements and procedures outlined in Part 65 of the NFIP regulations. In most instances, prior to a LOMR becoming effective, stakeholders are provided a 90-day period in which they can appeal the flood hazard information contained within the LOMR.
