 FEMA Region I

FEMA Region I works in partnership with the State, local communities, and stakeholders of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island and Connecticut to map, assess and communicate flood risk in New England.  Building off of the Map Modernization Program that provided digital flood hazard data and maps to communities, the vision for FEMA's new program, Risk Mapping, Assessment, and Planning (Risk MAP), is to deliver quality data that increases public awareness and leads to action that reduces risk to life and property.

On this site you will find information about ongoing flood hazard studies in your community, preliminary data that is available for public review, information about upcoming meetings, and useful FEMA links. To view information and data related to a specific study, please navigate to the study web page by clicking on the State abbreviation under FEMA Region I Project Portals (i.e. "CT"), and then choose the name of the study.

This site is hosted by STARR, a Production and Technical Services (PTS) contractor to FEMA.  If you have any questions about this site or the information provided on this site, please contact Alex Sirotek of STARR at the Region I Regional Service Center.

FEMA Region I Mitigation Division Points of Contact are available from the FEMA Region I Contacts website.
